With an innovative new concept and hip new location, the guys at The 908 assembled an all-star team to bring their vision to life. Every project begins with proper planning, and The 908 enlisted Draft Beer Intelligence’s expertise throughout the design phase of this project.
DBI worked closely with IDA architects and the all-star team at The 908, assisting with kitchen and bar layout, equipment selection, walk-in cooler, contractor selection, draft beer system design, wine on tap, and installation.
Early involvement in the project allowed DBI to ensure that each detail was well thought out, making project execution easy.
We installed:
🍺A custom twenty (20) faucet draft beer tower with 6 ½” brewery pipe finished in satin brass. The beer tower includes all stainless steel shanks and beer faucets, which is a DBI standard due to the prolonged life and hygienic quality of stainless steel.
🍺A nitrogen generator from Green Air Supply that separates nitrogen from the air at a 99.8% purity, delivering high-quality nitrogen to the draft system.
🍺Custom Draft Beer Intelligence secondary regulator panels deliver a precise carbonation level individually to each keg, while Core Component FOBs reduce product waste when the keg empties. All DBI customer panels include stainless steel components and barrier tubing jumper lines as a standard.
🍺A DBI glycol chiller powerpack with outdoor housing keeps draft lines between the keg room and the draft tower cold, ensuring that each side of the tower has a dedicated pump in this custom draft beer system.
🍺We also enjoyed installing a six (6) faucet, dual temperature wine kegerator for the wine-on-tap program. We installed the kegerator following all DBI standards that match or exceed the wine-on-tap standards for kegged wine.
🍺DBI is a licensed refrigeration contractor, and for this project, we supplied and installed the custom walk-in keg cooler.
🍺As a bonus, we installed all refrigeration and kitchen equipment for this project.
Looking back, it was so much fun to be a part of the architectural design meetings, the partner meetings at coffee shops and bars, the wine tastings, and the fun dinners at local high-rises.
Overall this was a fantastic project, and it was an honor to work with The 908 team. We know this project was a dream come true for these gentlemen, and they deserve everything that comes from this project.
