Brewing beer combines art, science, and the unique ability to combine ingredients to make delicious carbonated beverages: the creativity, talent, and equipment to deliver consistent great-tasting beer are critical to the operation of a brewery.
With this said, we were fortunate to cross paths with Head Brewer and Owner of Lincoln Beer Company, Patrick Dunn, and get the opportunity to partner with him on a project. Lincoln Beer Company is a 15 barrel production brewery located in Burbank, CA.
At Lincoln Beer Company in Burbank, CA, Draft Beer Intelligence built a custom pilot system and completed the glycol chiller installation.
The pilot system consisted of a boil kettle, mash tun, and a hot liquor tank. The product is fed through a wort chiller to a uni-fermenting tank. Both temperatures are regulated by the glycol chiller and pump rack custom-built by the DBI team.
The heat exchanger, SS Brewtech glycol chiller, pump, and controls were custom assembled on a mobile rack designed by the DBI team.
Lincoln Beer Company is known for its various IPAs, lagers, and unique flavor combinations like Habanero Vanilla Red. The Company has also partnered with companies like The Simpsons to create Duff Crafted Lager and Actor Danny Trejo on Trejo’s Cerveza Mexican Lager.
